Public Works

The Public Works Department is responsible for maintenance of village streets and right-of-way, as well as operation of the sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water utilities. The Department is staffed by a Director, Street Superintendent, Utility Superintendent, Engineering Technician, and 6 full time laborers and two summer assistants.

The department operates out of two garage facilities. The main office is located at 2828 Allouez Avenue and the second site is at 1811 Allouez Avenue.

Equipment maintained and operated includes seven dump trucks with snow plowing and salting attachments, two backhoes, a sewer cleaning vac-truck, street sweeper and various other vehicles and small equipment.

To the right is our fleet of vehicles and drivers that have been handling the tough Wisconsin winters. Please give them plenty of room when you meet them or follow them on the road. Not only is it a courtesy, but it is also the law.
