
The Leaders-In-Training (LIT) Program gives teens (Ages 13-16) the opportunity to gain leadership skills and to become a role model for younger children. Leaders-In-Training will assist the Camp Counselors at DeBroux or Josten Park with the Summer Day Camp and Kinder Kamp programs. They help plan activities, chaperone select field trips, and much more!

Dates: Monday - Friday, June 13 - August 19
Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Location: DeBroux or Josten Park
Application Deadline: Monday, June 6

How to Apply
STEP 1:
- Complete LIT Program application, personal statement, and reference form and submit to the Village Office.Application_16.pdf
STEP 2:
- Once materials have been received, you will be asked to attend a mandatory group interview on:
- On Monday June 13 at either:
- Josten Park: 9-10 am
- DeBroux Park: 1-2 pm
STEP 3:
- Camp Director and Coordinator will invite those that pass the interview process for a try-out at camp on Thursday June 16.
STEP 4:
- Those accepted into the program will be notified and asked to attend a paperwork meeting on Monday, June 20.
- Josten: 9-10 am
- DeBroux: 11-12
